January 5th, 2015 kicks off the start of the new Member ID Card and Short Term Recreational Pass policy that was adopted by the Board of Directors at their November 21st, 2014 meeting. The Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association (TKPOA) Member ID Card and Short Term Recreational Passes provide our members, their guests, and short-term renters access to the swimming pools, tennis courts, Pavilion beach, children’s playground, and volleyball court. Member ID Cards and Short Term Recreational Passes will be available at the TKPOA Pavilion office at 356 Ala Wai Blvd., seven days a week from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. The extended hours on the Saturday and Sunday are new this year to accommodate this need and provide member services.

The annual renters passes will be replaced with Short Term Recreational Passes for renters to purchase on a daily or weekly basis. These Short Term Recreational Passes will be issued as the programmed plastic cards, similar to member ID cards, that will allow access to our gated and secured areas based on the payment received. Vacation rental property owners and/or their property managers should direct rental guests to the TKPOA Pavilion office to purchase Short Term Recreational Passes. Renters will be required to show proof of their renter status and the length of their stay at the time they purchase Short Term Recreational Passes, which are available for purchase by cash or personal check and are nonrefundable.

Notes: 1. Pool passes and Tennis Court passes include Waterfront Access 2. Waterfront passes include Pavilion Beach, Children’s playground, and Volleyball court. 3. Admission for children under 5 years old is free. They must by accompanied by an 18 year old or older adult.

Previously issued Member ID Cards to Vacation Rental Properties, Long-Term Renter ID Cards and Corporate, Partnership or Multiple Family Ownerships that do not have a members name and photograph will be cancelled effective March 2nd, 2015. All previously issued Member ID Cards with photographs will still be valid. TKPOA members who are holding blank Member ID Cards are requested to obtain a replacement ID card with their name and photo and to turn in their current Member ID card without a photo. There will be no cost for the replacement Member ID Card with a card with a photo. Members must present a valid state issued Driver’s License or Identification card to receive a Member ID Card. Members obtaining replacement cards or updating their Member ID Card assignment will need to fill out a Tahoe Keys Property Owners I.D. Card Application. This form is available at the Pavilion Office and on this website (www.tkpoa.org).

Member ID Cards - A maximum of four (4) Member ID Cards per property can be issued. Member ID Cards will only be issued to immediate family members fourteen (14) years old or older with current photograph. Immediate family member names must be submitted to the TKPOA Office on the Tahoe Keys Property Owners I.D. Card

Application and signed by the Owner of record. Up to three guests per Member ID Card, and Long-Term Renter ID Card can access to the association facilities when accompanied by the ID cardholder.

At the TKPOA Board of Directors Regular Board meeting on November 21st, 2014 the Board also approved a refund schedule for the $100 Renter Cards issued during 2013-2014. To receive your Renter Card refund members are requested to apply for a new Member ID card with a photograph at the TKPOA Pavilion office. Based on when the member purchased their Renter Cards, a prorated refund will be issued via TKPOA check.

Please note that all previously issued Member ID Cards to Vacation Rental Properties, Long-Term Renter ID Cards and Corporate, Partnership or Multiple Family Ownerships that do not have a members name and photograph will be cancelled effective March 2nd, 2015, this deadline has been extended to allow for members to plan according for their use and enjoyment of their property, the TKPOA amenities, by themselves and their guests.
