  • Boat Docks

    Tahoe Keys Outdoor Pool

    Waterfront living provides direct boating access to and endless, breath-taking views of, Lake Tahoe and its natural beauty. The Tahoe Keys is a water-orientated community with easy and immediate access to the south shore of Lake Tahoe.

    Private Boat Docks

    All homeowners have open access either through the Tahoe Keys Marina [the East Channel] or through one of the many lagoons, canals and waterways to the West Channel. Most of the homes have either a private boat dock or a shared community boat dock, and all of the townhouses have assigned boat slips within their private Cove Docks. The Tahoe Keys Marina offers free boat launching ramps for residents of TKPOA, along with fuel & marine services, boat & water craft rentals, boat slip rentals, and restaurant services.

    All boats docked at a Tahoe Keys Townhouse Subdivision Dock require a TKPOA sticker. Please see document below, visit the Pavilion for more information or call (530) 542-6444 ext. 221.

  • Indoor Pool Status

    As of April 4, 2016 the Indoor pool is still closed, the asbestos has been abated, and mold that grew behind the walls as a result of the high humidity in the building (the mold was not caused by leaks in the roof as previously reported) has been abated.

  • Indoor Swimming Pool/Spa Closure Update

    UPDATED

    As of this morning, Wednesday, November 02, 2016, we have been informed, by the contractor performing the re-surfacing and coating Of our entryway, restroom floors and pool decking that they will need an additional time to complete this phase of the project.

    The Indoor Swimming Pool/Spa will be closed Wednesday, November 2, 2016 through Wednesday, November 10, 2016 and will re-open on thursday, November 11, 2016 at 6:00 AM.

  • Lighthouse Shores Pedestrian Gate - Open

    As of Friday September 8th, 2017 the Lighthouse Shores (LHS) pedestrian access gate has been opened to Lot C Beach areas.

    The Board of Directors announced at the Saturday May 20th, 2017 Regular Board Meeting that the Light House Shores (LHS) pedestrian access gate will be temporary closed due to the water levels that exist on Lot C Beach areas.

    Tahoe Keys Outdoor Pool

    The complex known as the “OUTDOOR POOL” is located adjacent to the Pavilion and includes the pool and adjoining patios with lounge chairs and picnic tables, and the pool building which is equipped with changing facilities, restrooms, and the Pool Cafe.

    Situated overlooking the lakefront, the Pavilion patio and outdoor pool area offer sweeping views of Lake Tahoe. The lakefront park, children's playground, park benches and sandy beaches are close by.

    The pool operates during the Summer months only, from Memorial Day weekend until just after the Labor Day holiday (depending on the weather).

    Situated on the lakefront, the Pavilion patio and outdoor pool area offer sweeping views of Lake Tahoe. Enjoy your food at lakefront park, playground, or the many park benches and tables on the adjacent lawns or on beach.

    Owners may rent the outdoor pool building, kitchen and patio for private receptions.

  • Pavilion

    Tahoe Keys Outdoor Pool

    The Pavilion is the TKPOA center of activity and serves as the community club house and administration office. It is located at 365 Ali Wai Blvd and is the focal point of the main activity complex which includes the Beach, Outdoor Pool, Pier, Playground, Tennis and Volleyball court.

    The Pavilion is where our member services FRONT DESK is located. Member owners come to the front desk to secure their member ID Passes, parking permits and boat registration. Guest and renters can purchase the guest passes for the pools & tennis courts, get temporary guest parking passes, and guest boat registration stickers. So this is the place to come if you have any questions.

    The Pavilion is also where most TKPOA staff have their offices and where most of the Committees meet and all Association meetings are held. See the calendar of events and individual committee or staff pages for additional information.

    You can also find a comfortable seating area overlooking the Pier and Lake , along with a small library of books to borrow; and, please, contribute a few books too if you can.

    Tahoe Keys Outdoor Pool

    The children's playground is conveniently located by the outdoor pool and is part of that complex, making it easy to access the pool, patios and cafe. It is a totally enclosed area and there are swings, slide, and other playground items plus a sandy area for play.

  • Road Improvement Committee

    Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association Road Improvement Committee Charter:
    Committee Purpose:
    1. To identify opportunities to improve the condition and safety of roads, owned by the City of South Lake Tahoe and located within the Tahoe Keys.
    2. To recommend actions to improve the condition and safety of roads located within the Tahoe Keys.
    Committee Responsibilities:
    1. Prepare an article for the Keys Breeze informing members of the Committee and seeking member input.
    2. Identify opportunities to improve the condition and safety of roads located within the Tahoe Keys.
    3. Prepare and present a draft written report of findings and recommendations to the Board at a Board Meeting and respond to questions.
    4. Prepare a final written report that reflects comments received at the Board Meeting and any follow-on member comment period.
    5. Prepare an article for the Keys Breeze informing members of the Committee findings and recommendations.
    6. Assist with implementation of the recommended actions.
  • Tahoe Keys Beaches

    Tahoe Keys is a water community and many of the homes, located on the inner channels and waterways have their own private beach areas. The Association maintains two private beaches as well, one is located in front of the Pavilion club house and the outdoor pool. The other is accessed through a members only gate at the far North end of Venice Drive.

    The Lighthouse Shores gate is currently locked for all access to the beach. See the News section for more information

    Tahoe Keys Beach

    In addition many of the townhouse coves have private beach areas adjacent to their boat docks or on adjacent property, which are generally reserved for the cove residents.

  • Tennis Courts

    There are 7 professional grade lighted tennis courts for the exclusive use of the members of the Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association. The tennis courts are used on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. No reservations required. The Venice Drive tennis courts have lights and a manual timer players can use to turn on the lights during their play. No set time for playing – so the court is considered to be open if not in use, OR until the sun goes down and it’s too dark to play on the Pavilion and Ala Wai Blvd.Courts. Nets and windbreaks are taken down as soon as the first snow is set to fall. You will need your owner’s or renter's ID card for entry.

    The Pier is located directly off the grassy area behind the Pavilion extending out over the Lake, and is a perfect place for relaxing, watching sunsets and taking photos.

    The Pier is also a very favorite place for couples to tie-the-knot with a beautiful Lake scene for a background since Owners may rent the outdoor pool building, kitchen and patio for private receptions.
