Islander 2 Utility Upgrade

Dear Islanders 2 Owners,

This notice is to inform you that the Islanders 2 Utility and Parking Lot Replacement Project is now tentatively scheduled to start June 10th-12th, 2026. The contractor is currently waiting for lines to be marked before starting demolition.

The project scope includes replacement of the parking lot asphalt, sewer infrastructure, and domestic water lines throughout Islanders 2. The contractor for the project is Haen Constructors.

Haen Constructors has estimated approximately 2–3 weeks for the primary utility construction activities. However, TKPOA is advising owners to anticipate an overall project duration of approximately 4–6 weeks to account for landscape restoration, final asphalt detailing, striping, inspections, and final closeout items.

During construction, owners should expect intermittent access limitations, construction equipment within the subdivision, and periods of controlled traffic flow. A traffic control and flagging plan has been prepared for the project to maintain safe vehicle and pedestrian movement throughout the work area.

We are working with the city to allow street parking and will provide an update shortly.

Additionally, if you plan to be onsite during construction, TKPOA strongly recommends establishing access through rear slider entrances where possible. Boat access will remain available throughout the project; however, owners should expect periods where front entry access may be difficult due to excavation, grading, utility installation, and asphalt operations.

Additional updates regarding scheduling, access impacts, and work sequencing will be provided as the project progresses.

TKPOA appreciates the cooperation and patience of the Islanders 2 community during this infrastructure improvement project.

Thank you,

John Cefalu

Facilities Director
