Well #4 Construction Schedule

The Well #4 work is moving into its next phases which include the new Pipeline to be installed down Ala Wai and Construction of the Well Building and Bathroom. Haen Constructors is the awarded contractor on both projects. Construction activities will occur during normal daytime working hours from 8am-6:30pm. 

Dewatering is happening continually from the well site with large sprinklers placed in the park adjacent to the project area. It is ground water from the well site, not normal irrigation. This is standard operations for Well work and is a necessary part of construction.

The Haen team has installed required fencing for the Well site which includes closing a section of sidewalk. About 200’ of the sidewalk will remain closed to accommodate the construction site. Due to construction staging and other circumstances, the basketball court and the tennis court parking lot have also been closed. All these areas will be closed for the entirety of construction so please use caution while traveling in the area and do not enter any fenced areas for your safety.

Please be aware that we will give as much notice as possible for Utility outages as well as when the road will be under traffic control. We do not expect any outages until springtime.

TKPOA and all involved contractors have taken every opportunity to complete the work as efficiently and respectfully as possible while providing a critical public utility improvement for the Tahoe Keys community.
