Well #4 Drilling Schedule

The well drilling work has been mobilized at the Ala Wai park as of Monday, May 4th. The crew will start the install of the sound walls Tuesday the 5th with drill rigs and other equipment showing up the following week.

There will be a safety fence installed closing part of the walking path from the North side of the Ala Wai tennis courts to the Corner of Ala Wai and White Sands Dr.

Initial site preparation and setup activities will occur during normal daytime working hours from 8am-6:30pm, with the exception of the Well Drilling period. Once the drilling process begins, it must proceed continuously until the well drilling is completed to avoid damaging the borehole and drilling equipment.

Below is an outline of the current schedule from the Well Drilling Team.

Please keep in mind the dates listed are subject to shift due to environmental and outside factors.

24/7 operations is scheduled to begin (5/15) and end at the Annular Seal placement (5/22). Highlighted below in Red .

The only other significant noise impacts will be from the test engine during pump development and well testing (6/3-6/10). This is Highlighted above in Yellow and will be during daytime hours.
